Reiko, KOKATSU is an art historian and an art critic, former chief curator at Tochigi Prefectural Museum of Fine Arts. Her specialties are modern and contemporary art history and gender studies. She lectures in the Jissen Women’s University, the Kyoto University of Art & Design, the Meiji Gakuin University and the Gakushuin Women’s College. She was in charged of a number of exhibitions that discovered and re-evaluated modern and contemporary women artists in Japan and other parts of Asia.
