Curator / Chief Curator, Aomori Contemporary Art Centre, Aomori Public University [ACAC]. Born in Tokyo in 1989. Keino received a master’s degree in interdisciplinary information studies from the University of Tokyo. After working at Akita University of Art (2014-16) and Museum of Samoa (2017-19), she currently works at ACAC from 2019. Interested in residency production and artist-in-residence (AIR) as a curatorial methodology, Keino has conducted research on textile and other cultures in the Asia-Pacific region and has collaborated with artists on a number of projects that rethink modern and contemporary history. Director of DOUBLE ANNUAL 2025 at Tohoku University of Art and Design. Part-time lecturer at Joshibi University of Art and Design, and Kyoto University of Art and Design.
